destroy all monsters and the original americanized version with perry mason added in.... my dad let me stay up late when i was a little boy to watch that movie with him.

it's not my favorite but have you guys seen the one where he fights a giant mutant rosebush called biollante? it's so ridiculious.

i just rented the new one called the final wars, i found it a bit lacking, though one of the special features shows behind the scenes coverage of them filming the guys in the monster suits fighting and smashing stuff.

It depends on if I want watchable and engaging or just incredibly stupid. vs Mothra for the former, vs Gamera for the latter. Man, Godzilla looks kind of like a vaguely evil Barney in Gamera, and that dorky tailslide--sheer winciness.

I love Godzilla Versus Mechagodzilla, of course, but Monster Zero is also a personal favorite. And it is soooo stupid that Monster Zero just King Ghidorah, but I still love it.
