reminds me of my favorite video store from back in the day, frigging huge selection of sci fi to the point of ultra cheesiness and then all of a sudden they closed. im still bummed!

We used to have a video store half a block from my pad called Psychotronic Video that carried *only* cult, alt, schlock, horror... all the fun stuff! I rented stuff there I had never seen anywhere else, including "La Mujer Murcielago," a mexican Batwoman movie! (It kicks ass, and is not to be confused with "The Wild World of Batwoman." "La Mujer Murcielago has a grrrrreat jazz soundtrack that actually far outweighs the quality of the movie.

Then one day, they were up and closed, and selling off only a portion of their stock. The couple that owned it kept all their favourites and hiked it to Florida. The noive!

It was a sad day.

Borders has been good for finding cheap B-movies from the fifties and sixties... talk to the manager of that store and find out if they are just re-arranging their stock, or what the deal is. I feel for you.
