Okay, maybe I've been out of town too long.

Watched "Ultraviolet" and loved all six hours of it. Jack Davenport did a great job and it was nice to see him playing someone serious, as opposed to his character in "Coupling".

Then, just half an hour ago, I find out there's a movie version.

Then I find out it ISN'T an adaptation of the BBC series about vampires.

According to reviews, it's maxi-suck.

Anyone seen it?

      Oh, it's a real slick BBC miniseries starring Jack Davenport. Can you believe that in the entire series, they never once use the word "vampires". They call them "Code 5's" or "leeches".

      I found the boxed DVD set at Fred Meyer's, of all places.
