i'm looking for some recommendations. i love old B movies but it's hit and miss. maybe something ED Wood-esque?

Fri, January 20, 2006 - 12:34 PMRent White Zombie. It was another one of those movies we rented expecting to mock, and it turns out to be incredibly good. Lugosi is amazing and actually kinda scary, and the wriggly German Expressionist influences make it pretty to watch.
If also just watched Casino Royale. I giggled all the way through. My partner called it a trainwreck. YMMV. -

Sat, February 25, 2006 - 12:18 PMI totally agree about Russ Meyers-he's a fav of mine. Faster Pussycat, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is slightly more mainstream and I love that Roger Ebert made that with him. Do you like John Waters too?
